YMCA membership is open to all regardless of age, sex, creed, race or income level. The YMCA is an association of members working together to improve the quality of life for all people of Wayne County. It is a member of an international organization, which accepts diversity, promotes community development & cooperation.
Privileges
Membership privileges include: Open Gymnasium Time, Reduced Rates on Programs, Free Fitness Classes, Free Parking, Guest Privileges, Member Newsletters, Member Drawings & Promotions, New Member Training & Packet, Free Swimming at Carbondale Facility, Y Membership Cards. *Members 13 & Older may use the Health Center Facility*
- Membership Cards are presented when memberships are paid in full.
- Bank Draft Members will receive their cards within two weeks.
- Members must present cards/receipts to Staff upon entering the Y.
- Lost Membership cards will be replaced for $5.00 per occurrence.
- Memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable.
Payment Options
Payment is accepted via cash, credit card, debit card or bank draft (EFT). Payment plans are available as well as financial assistance.
Financial Assistance: The Wayne County YMCA is a not-for-profit, charitable health and human services organization committed to helping people grow in spirit, mind and body. YMCAs are here to serve people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities and incomes. The Y is community-based and believes that its programs and services should be available to everyone. That’s why the YMCA offers a Financial Assistance Program. This program has a sliding fee scale that is designed to fit each individual’s financial situation.
